Art has the power to changes lives and the course of history.

The Kingstad Gallery will be exhibiting works of art that further the cause of peace and reconciliation in our communities, our nation, and throughout the world.

Please consider how your artwork furthers the ideals of peace and reconciliation. A subtheme will be to spotlight inequities as a call to action.

The selection process will place a strong emphasis on how the artwork addresses potential solutions, reconciliation, and the power of the human spirit to overcome oppression and loss.

Works that promote the basic unity underlying all religious thought and philosophies of peace are welcomed.

Works that promote a specific religious agenda will not be considered.

Print arts will be strongly emphasized in this exhibit, with all media being represented.

Media: original prints, painting (all media), mixed media, sculpture (all media), glass, digital and film photography.

Sizes: up to 40” x 72” for wall-hung art; up to 30” x 30” x 72” for sculpture.

Jury fee: $45 for first 5 submissions; $5 for each additional; 15 total submissions with application.

All works must be professionally framed (preferred) or gallery-wrapped (clean edges; no continuation of artwork on sides; no visible staples), ready to hang with flat D-rings and wrapped wire, and available for sale for the duration of the exhibit. Works that do not follow these criteria will be disqualified.

Exhibiting artists: approximately 20

Number of works: approximately 130, dependent upon number of submissions and sizes
